Cathy Cobane is a 23 year old qualified Level 3 Beauty Therapist from County Tyrone. Cathy has completed her studies including Artificial Nail Structures, Fashion & Photographic Makeup Courses at South West College Omagh and is now currently seeking part-time employment in the Beauty industry which she believes will complement her lifestyle and that of her young son.

Having a natural flair for art, Cathy enjoys creating make-up looks and gel nails. Cathy has showcased both these talents on herself for previous photoshoots where she participated as an alternative model demonstrating also her passion for Japanese style tattoos. By participating in this venture she says she “I have had the pleasure of working with Declan Burke, Image 31 Photography, Karolina Wiatr, Norm Keilty and Agnes & Eric Photography. I was also privileged to have been asked by Charity Boxing Event manager, Ciaran Donnelly, to participate as ring girl to raise money in aid of MS and Roscavey Primary School on 15th October 2016 in Kelly’s Inn, Garvaghy”.

Cathy goes onto say “Since then, Shelley Rogers and Kieran Sherry, Founder and Co. Editor of Equal Fashion Magazine had given me a tremendous opportunity to partake in Belfast Alternative Fashion Week 2016 and, furthermore, become an IKON OF ACE The Alternative Commercial Equal Agency. My role in the catwalk was to model for stylist Binder Tohani, where I personified two of the ten concepts she had envisioned, illustrating the proud peacock and representing the moon, brought to life by the rich sensuous fabrics, lush embroideries, and head jewellery of Indian culture, which framed her henna inspired body art, makeup and hair”.

Not only is does Cathy make a wonderful model but she delights us further by saying “My plans for the future include working as a Make-up Artist backstage for models, with collaborations of my own, alongside photographers and designers”.
