I have three big passions in my life – books, arts and travelling. Whenever I have an opportunity I travel.
I’ve always had a dream to move from my homeland, I felt different from most of the people, a stranger. I remember myself and my best friend making a promise to each other that one day we’re going to live abroad. So we both kept that promise. I’ve moved to Ireland 6 years ago and had no regrets since then.
From the first days I was overwhelmed by the beauty of Irish landscape, kindness and friendliness of people. Most of my favourite musicians, writers, legends and myths were born in Ireland. Since I came here I felt a strange feeling that I belonged here and nowhere else. I believe that the real home is where your heart is and if you feel that something’s not right – change it! The Emerald Island met me with arms wide open.
I’ve worked as a promoter’s assistant and in my free time I’ve started to design greeting cards and opened my little online shop. I’m very passionate about what I do. I also sell at various craft fairs from time to time. It’s a great way to meet new people, to share the ideas.
I decided to go back to what I always wanted to do, but never had a normal chance. I tried some modelling in my home country, but i had a very bad experience in that area. My “career” ended when some other girls and I were offered to work in the porn industry. That was the end of it.
I’ve never went back to modelling there again until I came to Ireland. Step by step I started working with the local photographers, designers, makeup artists. To me the best part of modelling is meeting talented, creative people, sharing the ideas, making new friends. It’s not only about the results. It’s about the whole process. Recently some of my works had been noticed by the amazing Ace The Alternative Commercial Equal Agency and I was offered to become the Face of Belfast Alternative Fashion Week. That was beyond my expectations. I’m feeling so grateful to all the amazing people I’ve worked with and to those who believed in me. I’d like to finish by quoting my absolutely favourite writer and my biggest inspiration Oscar Wilde: “Be yourself. Everyone else is already taken”.
