Situated in the Antrim Business Park beside the Junction Outlet, Blades and Beauty has, went from strength to strength since opening its doors. With my team of hand- picked experts, my salon covers everything all hair, make-up, beauty and tanning needs. We are now also a teaching salon for Airbase, who very kindly sponsor Blades and Beauty with their high-end product, this is used on each creative piece of body art and some editorial work we have created.

Due to an injury I could no longer fulfil my job role in the mental health sector, leading to my career change.  Having grown watching my mother run her own successful hair dressing salon and having a love of art and fashion, I would never have thought that life would have lead me back to this industry. In 2015 I wrote a five-year business plan including goals which I set out to achieve.  It has been an unbelievable experience and my expectations have been surpassed. I have a wonderful team working for me, with so much support and amazing feedback the salon receives from our customers.  My team and business has so much support also from individuals in the PR/Fashion industry, all of this I am truly thankful for.

Special thanks to Equal for their ongoing and continued support with regards to my business and also Blades and Beauty creative concepts that are used to help empower others and give a message of strength, hope and positivity to all. This year we are hoping to accomplish even more.  Blades and Beauty’s very own Paula has been picked to be part of Chanel Joanelkayam @CJE_Offical Milan Fashion Week team.  They meet London Fashion Week 2017. We have meet so many amazing people, that together we get to help create concepts and work within the industry to such a high standard of professionalism.
